The Port Fairy Adventure Film Festival is an international film competition showcasing the world’s best adventure documentary films. Held over one weekend in the picturesque town of Port Fairy in Australia, we come together to be inspired, motivated, and share meaningful stories from around the world.

FESTIVAL INFO

Held annually in November, the Port Fairy Adventure Film Festival is Australia's leading adventure film competition. The weekend long festival includes sessions of carefully selected short films, feature length films, guest speakers, book launches, and other inspiring events. Join us for a weekend that celebrates the outdoors!

TICKETS

We’ve kept the ticketing process simple and affordable. Due to COVID, all events require pre-booking online. Each session is ticketed separately and screens completely different films so please book a ticket to each session you wish to attend.


Please note: due to seating restrictions, we are unable to offer all inclusive festival passes.

PORT FAIRY

Located approximately 4 hours drive from Melbourne at the end of the Great Ocean Road, Port Fairy is a small town with a big heart. A vibrant surfing town with an active and passionate community, it's the perfect location for Australia's adventure film festival.

THE VENUE

The Reardon Theatre, a recently restored art deco cinema, is the screening hub for the festival. Seating 240 patrons, all films will be screened in state of the art DCP and 5.1 surround sound ensuring festival-goers experience adventure films like never before in Australia.

AWARDS

On the final day of the festival our Jury Panel announce the award winning films for Best of Fest, Best Feature Film, Most Inspiring Film, and People's Choice. Prize money is generously provided by our Awards Sponsor, Port Fairy Community Bank. View the 2021 award winning films.
